: Vintage 1950s girdle shaper panties with hosiery garters.  RN 40431, made in the USA. Firm support. Waist band has cotton covered elastic for comfort. Metal and elastic garters.  I took photos of this inside out so you can see the control.  Pillow tabbed back waist. Front is made of 100% Nylon.  Front elastic is 56% Acetate, 20% Rayoon, 17% Rubber and 7% Cotton.  Body elastic is 74% Rayon, 20% Rubber, and 6% Nylon.

CONDITION

Deadstock / Vintage New Old Stock without the tags. Elastics are very good. We gave this one a light hand wash with air dry to rid it from dust and it cleaned up nicely.

You may (OR MAY NOT) find faint colored tiny/very small sized age related marks here or there.  This is not uncommon for garments/fibers of this age.  These marks will typically lift out with a proper laundering and/or a light soak in an Oxyclean or light bleach solution.
